HD Research Hub is an open-source, non-commercial research project. We are committed to protecting the privacy of every visitor. This policy explains what data we collect (very little), how we use it (only for improving the site), and your rights.

Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID: G-N8BMJ7ZG5V) to understand how this site is used. This helps us improve the content and prioritize research areas. Google Analytics collects:

- General geographic region (country/city level, not precise location)
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- Referral source (how you found the site)
This data is aggregated and anonymous. No personally identifiable information is collected. - HDBuzz (en.hdbuzz.net). HD community news (via public RSS feed)
- Open Targets (platform.opentargets.org). Drug-target associations
We do not modify the source data. We aggregate and display it for research and educational purposes.
AI-Generated Content
Some content on this site (drug repurposing hypotheses, research scores) is generated by AI models running on our infrastructure. This content is:
- Clearly labeled as AI-generated
- Not a substitute for professional medical or scientific advice
- Published for community discussion and further research
- Generated using open-source models (Ollama/Llama) running locally. your browsing data is never sent to AI providers
Third-Party Links
This site links to external organizations (HDSA, HDBuzz, HDYO, ClinicalTrials.gov, etc.). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
Children's Privacy

Since we do not collect personally identifiable information, there is typically nothing to delete or export.
